Position Overview
Life Healthcare is seeking a Registered Nurse to join their Onsite Clinic in Cape Town. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality primary healthcare services to meet the needs of clients, ensuring effective service delivery that exceeds expectations. The position is non-shift and requires 40 hours of work per week. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a dynamic environment that prioritizes health and wellness.
Key Responsibilities
- Primary Healthcare Service Delivery:
- Provide primary healthcare services in the onsite clinic, focusing on general health assessments, treatment, and prevention.
- Manage the client contract on-site, ensuring smooth operations and effective service delivery.
- Health Programme Management:
- Compile and implement a primary health programme, setting clear objectives to improve patient outcomes and health management.
- Meet the targets set in the health and quality programme to ensure continuous improvement in service quality.
- Quality Control and Audits:
- Fulfill quality audit requirements as per Life Healthcare’s standards and client specifications.
- Ensure all procedures and services adhere to prescribed professional and quality standards of both Life Healthcare and the client.
- Health Project Management:
- Initiate and manage health projects to promote wellness and health awareness on-site.
- Work efficiently within a team to meet project goals and deliver high-quality healthcare services.
- Administrative Duties:
- Ensure administration needs are met in a timely manner, keeping records accurate and up-to-date.
- Provide clear and concise reports to supervisors and clients as needed.
Requirements
- Registered Nurse with current SANC registration.
- Additional qualification in Primary Healthcare preferred.
- Additional qualification in dispensing will be advantageous.
- Competence in basic computer skills, administration, and effective communication.
- Experience and competence in employee relations.
- Strong emergency first aid skills for medical emergencies.
- Own transport required for site access.
