Job Overview
Life Carstenhof Hospital is looking for an Enrolled Nurse to join the Paediatric Ward. The primary purpose of this role is to ensure quality patient care through effective nursing practices, meeting regulatory and healthcare standards. The selected candidate will report to the Unit Manager.
Key Responsibilities
- Patient Care: Provide high-quality nursing care that aligns with SANC regulations and Life Healthcare policies.
- Health & Safety: Maintain health, safety, and infection control standards to foster a safe patient environment.
- Resource Management: Utilize hospital resources effectively and ensure proper maintenance of medical equipment.
- Record Keeping: Accurately maintain patient records.
- Patient Education: Continue educating patients and families as needed.
- Relationship Building: Collaborate closely with patients, families, doctors, and medical staff to ensure comprehensive care.
Requirements
- Qualifications: Must be a qualified Enrolled Nurse registered with SANC.
- Experience: Previous experience in a Paediatric Ward is essential.
- Work Flexibility: Ability to work shifts per hospital operational needs.
- Advantageous Skills:
- Knowledge of the private healthcare industry.
- Computer proficiency.
