Position Overview

Key Responsibilities

In this role, your daily tasks will include:

• Customer Service: Providing exceptional service to customers, assisting with inquiries, and ensuring that all visitors feel welcomed and valued. Your friendly demeanor and willingness to help will enhance the customer experience.
• Sales Transactions: Operating the cash register and handling transactions using Pastel or Point of Sale (POS) systems. Accuracy is vital, as you will be responsible for processing sales, refunds, and exchanges efficiently.
• Inventory Management: Assisting in the management of stock levels, including receiving, unpacking, and organizing products. Keeping track of inventory ensures that we always have the right products available for our customers.
• Store Maintenance: Keeping the store clean and well-organized, creating an inviting atmosphere for shoppers. Regularly checking displays and shelves to ensure they are stocked and visually appealing is essential.
• Communication: Communicating effectively with team members and management to relay customer feedback and suggestions. Your insights will help improve store operations and customer satisfaction.

Qualifications & Skills

To be considered for this position, candidates should meet the following requirements:

• Educational Background: A minimum of a Matric certificate is required. This foundational education ensures that you have the basic skills necessary for the role.
• Technical Proficiency: Experience with Pastel or Point of Sale systems is essential. Familiarity with Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and Word, will also be beneficial for managing reports and communications.
• Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills are necessary for interacting with customers and colleagues. Your ability to convey information clearly will enhance teamwork and customer interactions.

Working Hours

• Monday to Friday: 09:00 AM – 05:00 PM
• Saturday: 09:00 AM – 01:00 PM
