Key Responsibilities
As the Senior Human Capital Officer, your responsibilities will span several critical areas of HR management:
- Strategic HR Planning
You will collaborate with senior leadership to align the company’s human resources strategy with its long-term business goals. This includes workforce planning, forecasting HR needs, and developing strategies to recruit, retain, and develop top talent. - Employee Relations
A key aspect of your role will be maintaining positive employee relations within the company. Minimum Requirements
To be considered for this position, candidates must meet the following minimum requirements:
- Educational Qualifications:
A Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field is essential for this role. An advanced degree or additional HR certifications will be an added advantage. - Professional Experience:
You should have at least 5+ years of experience working in HR, with a minimum of 2 years in a senior or HR Business Partner (HRBP) role. Experience in talent management, organizational development, and change management is essential. - Knowledge and Skills:
A deep understanding of HR principles, practices, and employment laws in South Africa is required. You should also have proven experience in handling HR compliance, conflict resolution, and employee relations. - Communication and Leadership:
Strong communication, negotiation, and leadership skills are crucial for this position. You should be comfortable working with senior leadership, providing sound HR advice, and managing teams effectively.
