Position Overview:
As an Electrical and Instrumentation Draughtsman, you will be responsible for creating precise and detailed engineering designs. You will use software tools tailored to each project’s specific requirements. From drafting initial designs to revising them based on client feedback, you will play a central role in ensuring that projects move smoothly from concept to completion.
Your work will involve more than just drafting. You will be expected to make sure that all designs adhere to relevant industry standards and company protocols, ensuring both safety and quality are upheld. Key Responsibilities:
- Draft and create engineering designs for electrical and instrumentation systems using specialized software tools.

- Collaborate with project managers and engineers to ensure designs are aligned with project goals and timelines.
- Maintain design documentation and records, ensuring all design packs are complete, accurate, and up-to-date.

What You Need to Succeed in This Role:

Required Qualifications:
- A CAD Diploma or Certificate is essential. Proficiency in drafting software is key to performing well in this role.
Experience:
- At least 3 years of drafting experience within an engineering environment. This will allow you to understand the intricacies of engineering projects and the need for precision in design.
- Minimum 2 years of hands-on experience using design software such as CAD, OneDes, Microstation, or DAD. Familiarity with these tools is critical to producing high-quality work in a fast-paced environment.
Skills and Knowledge:
- A strong understanding of the instrumentation or electrical field. You’ll need this technical background to effectively design systems that meet client specifications.
