Position Details:
As the Senior Mechanical Draughtsman, your primary responsibility will be to create detailed technical drawings that accurately reflect design specifications. - Experience: You should have at least 3 years of experience in the sheet metal manufacturing industry. Your experience should include working with Solidworks, particularly in the area of sheet metal design.
- Software Proficiency: You must be proficient in both Solidworks (especially sheet metal) and AutoCAD. Experience with SigmaNest or other design-related software will also be beneficial.
- Measuring Equipment: You should be familiar with using measuring tools such as Vernier calipers, as precision is key in this role.
- Attention to Detail: The ability to spot errors and correct them in designs is crucial, as even small mistakes can lead to significant production issues.
