Key Responsibilities:
As a Conveyancer, you will be responsible for various tasks that are vital to property transactions. Your primary duties will include, but are not limited to:
- Drafting Contracts: You will prepare and review agreements related to property transfers, ensuring they comply with legal standards and protect your clients’ interests.
- Conducting Property Searches: You’ll perform searches on properties to confirm ownership and check for any legal issues that could affect the transfer of property rights.
- Registering Properties: You will handle the registration of property transfers with the relevant authorities, ensuring all documents are submitted accurately and timely.
- Advising Clients: Part of your role will involve guiding clients through the entire conveyancing process, explaining legal terms, and advising them on their rights and responsibilities.

Minimum Requirements:
To qualify for this position, candidates must meet the following criteria:
- Admitted Attorney and Conveyancer: You must have completed the necessary education and training to be admitted as both an attorney and a conveyancer in South Africa. This is a critical requirement for the role.
- Admission as a Notary (Advantageous): If you are already an admitted notary, it will be considered a significant advantage, as this will enhance your ability to serve clients more comprehensively.
