Job Overview:
We are looking for a dedicated and detail-oriented Administrator to join one of our busy retail branches in Nelspruit. If you have strong administrative skills and are fluent in both English and Afrikaans, this might be the perfect opportunity for you. In this role, you will be responsible for various administrative tasks that keep our store running smoothly. The ideal candidate will be someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment and has a genuine passion for providing excellent customer service.
What We’re Looking For:
- Education: Must have completed Matric (Grade 12) or equivalent qualification.
- Language Skills: Must be fully bilingual in English and Afrikaans. This is essential because many of our customers prefer communication in Afrikaans, especially for report writing.
- Experience: Prior experience in administrative roles is required.
- Skills: Excellent communication abilities, strong organizational skills, and a customer-centric attitude are essential.
- Attributes: Must be punctual, reliable, and have a positive attitude toward working with both clients and colleagues.
Main Responsibilities:
As an Administrator for our retail store, your tasks will include but not be limited to:
- Document Management: Organizing and filing branch-related documents, ensuring everything is stored correctly and easily accessible.
- Customer Service: Answering incoming calls from clients and assisting them with their inquiries in a polite and professional manner.
- Cashier Assistance: Helping out with cashier duties during busy periods to ensure customers are served efficiently.
- Stock Control: Assisting with stock taking when needed and making sure stock levels are accurately recorded.
- General Administration: Providing additional administrative support, including data capturing and system updates.
- Client Bookings: Managing and arranging customer bookings for our shooting range and ensuring that all arrangements run smoothly.
- Booking Confirmation: Confirming the schedule for training events each week via email and making sure clients receive all the information they need.
- Follow-Up Calls: Following up with clients about their bookings and informing them when their certificates are ready for collection.
- Customer Queries: Responding to customer queries in person, over the phone, or by email to ensure their needs are met promptly.
- Data Capturing: Entering client and transaction information into our company system with accuracy.
- Training Advice: Advising customers on the different training programs we offer at our shooting range.
Working Hours:
Please note that this position requires flexibility to work within retail hours, which include weekends and public holidays:
- Monday to Friday: 8:30 AM to 6:00 PM
- Saturday: 8:30 AM to 3:00 PM (working every other weekend)
- Sunday: 9:30 AM to 2:00 PM (working every other weekend)
- Public Holidays: 8:30 AM to 3:00 PM
