Job Overview
Life Wilgeheuwel Hospital is looking for a skilled Enrolled Nurse Specialist to join their Emergency Unit. Reporting to the Unit Manager, the successful candidate will ensure high-quality patient care in compliance with SANC regulations and Life Healthcare standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Patient Care: Provide quality nursing activities compliant with SANC regulations and Life Healthcare policies.
- Health and Safety: Maintain health, safety, and infection control standards to promote a safe environment for patients and staff.
- Resource Management: Effectively manage resources, maintain equipment, and ensure accurate record-keeping.
- Patient Education: Facilitate ongoing education for patients.
- Relationship Building: Develop and maintain effective relationships with patients, doctors, and medical staff to support quality patient care.
Requirements
- Qualifications: Registered as an Enrolled Nurse with SANC.
- Experience: Relevant experience in an Emergency Department.
- Skills: Ability to work flexible shifts as per hospital requirements; understanding of private healthcare industry dynamics is beneficial.
- Other: Computer proficiency is advantageous; willingness to work flexi-hours in the ward.
