Position Overview

Life Health Solutions Clinic in Steelpoort, Limpopo, has a vacancy for a Driver (Code 08). This role supports the clinic’s occupational health services by transporting clients, equipment, and maintaining vehicle standards to ensure effective and efficient service delivery.

Key Responsibilities

• Customer Service: Build strong working relationships with internal and external customers, ensuring satisfaction.
• Vehicle Maintenance: Regularly inspect, clean, and maintain the vehicle per Life Healthcare policies, promptly report any issues, and perform basic upkeep.
• Transport Duties: Responsible for delivering and collecting equipment, and transporting clients in line with operational requirements.
• Record-Keeping: Maintain accurate trip sheets, fuel records, and submit reports to the line manager monthly.
• Safety Compliance: Adhere to all traffic regulations and Life Healthcare’s Health, Safety, and Infection Control policies.
• Additional Duties: Be available for standby and overtime, as required.

Requirements

• Education: Matric/Grade 12.
• Licenses: Valid Code 08 driver’s license and Professional Driving Permit (PDP); advanced driving course is an advantage.
• Experience: Minimum 5 years of experience as a driver, preferably with experience in the mining or healthcare sectors.
• Language Proficiency: Proficient in English and one other South African language.
• Physical Fitness: Ability to lift and carry items for delivery; fit for driving and delivery tasks.
• Other: Demonstrates sober habits, strong customer orientation, teamwork, and cost-saving initiative.
