What We’re Looking For:

Key Responsibilities:

As a shampooist, you will be responsible for providing excellent service to all clients by performing the following duties:

1. Shampooing and Conditioning: Ensure clients receive a relaxing and thorough shampoo and conditioning treatment. You will work closely with stylists to prep clients for various hair services such as cuts, colors, and treatments.
2. Customer Service: Greet clients with a warm, friendly attitude. Make them feel comfortable and valued from the moment they walk in the door. Your role as the first point of contact is crucial in ensuring a positive experience for each guest.
3. Maintain Cleanliness: Keep workstations, sinks, and salon equipment clean and sanitized at all times. Cleanliness is key in a professional salon setting, and maintaining a tidy workspace is a significant part of your role.
4. Assist Stylists: You’ll work closely with the salon’s stylists, ensuring they have everything they need to provide high-quality services to clients. This might involve handing them tools, preparing products, or even assisting with smaller tasks to ensure smooth operations.

Job Requirements:

To qualify for this position, you must meet the following requirements:

• Minimum 2 Years of Experience: You should have at least 2 years of hands-on experience working in a hair salon. This ensures that you’re familiar with the fast pace of salon life and can handle the responsibilities that come with it.
• Strong Personality: We need someone with a strong, confident personality who can handle the pressure of a busy salon. You must be able to think on your feet and provide solutions to any problems that may arise during your shift.
• Polite and Friendly: You’ll be the first person many clients interact with, so a friendly and welcoming demeanor is essential. Your ability to create a positive first impression will set the tone for the entire salon experience.
