Position Summary:

Key Responsibilities:

1. Design and Development:
   You will be responsible for designing and developing innovative water and sanitation projects. This includes creating comprehensive design layouts that meet regulatory standards and address the specific needs of the communities served. Your ability to think creatively will be instrumental in delivering effective solutions that improve water access and sanitation.
2. Technical Documentation:
   Preparing detailed design calculations, reports, and specifications will be a critical part of your role. You will ensure that all documentation is clear, thorough, and aligned with industry standards. 3. Project Collaboration:

Minimum Qualifications & Experience Required:

• Educational Background:
  A Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering (BTech or BSc Eng) is required. Your educational foundation should provide you with the knowledge necessary to excel in engineering design and project management.
• Professional Registration:
  You must be professionally registered with the Engineering Council of South Africa (ECSA), demonstrating your commitment to professional standards and ethical practices in engineering.
• Experience:
  A minimum of 5 to 8 years of hands-on design experience specifically in water and sanitation infrastructure is essential. This experience should include involvement in various stages of project development, from initial design to implementation and evaluation.
• Technical Proficiency:
  Proficiency in engineering software such as Civil 3D and Revit is required, along with strong skills in the Microsoft Office Suite. Your ability to leverage technology will enhance your efficiency and effectiveness in project execution.
• Communication and Interpersonal Skills:
  Excellent communication, interpersonal, and administrative skills are crucial for interacting with team members, clients, and stakeholders. Your ability to articulate ideas clearly and foster positive relationships will contribute to the success of your projects.
• Driver’s License:
  A valid driver’s license and your own transport are necessary, as the role may require travel to project sites and meetings.

Compensation:
