This position requires someone who has experience managing around 20 trucks and is passionate about ensuring smooth operations in the transportation sector.

Key Responsibilities

As a Transport Controller, your main duties will include:

• Load Execution: Ensure that all loads are executed efficiently and effectively, meeting customer expectations.
• Delay Management: Quickly escalate any delays in the loading or transportation process to minimize disruptions.
• Tracking: Monitor the location and status of vehicles to ensure timely deliveries.
• Driver Communication: Maintain open lines of communication with drivers to provide support and receive updates.
• Load Appointments: Schedule and manage load appointments using Blu Jay software to coordinate transport effectively.
• TMS Updates: Regularly update the Transport Management System (TMS) with relevant information to keep records accurate and current.

Minimum Qualifications

To be considered for this role, you should meet the following requirements:

• Education: A Matric certificate or equivalent (Grade 12).
• Experience: At least 3 years of experience in the transport industry, with a solid understanding of its operations.
• Software Knowledge: Familiarity with Transport Management Systems (TMS) and basic C-Track knowledge.
• Flexibility: Willingness to work shifts as needed.
