Key Responsibilities

As the Restaurant Manager, your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Oversee stock control, including ordering, receiving, and managing inventory levels. Ensure that the restaurant is always well-stocked with food, beverages, and supplies.
  • Implement cost-effective measures to minimize waste and manage budgets effectively.
  1. Bar Management:
  • Manage the bar area, including overseeing the selection and procurement of beverages, ensuring compliance with legal regulations, and training bartenders on drink preparation and service.
  • Monitor bar performance and work to enhance profitability through effective promotions and menu offerings.
  1. Financial Oversight:
  • Assist in budget planning and financial forecasting. Track daily sales, monitor costs, and ensure that the restaurant operates within its budget.
  • Prepare and analyze financial reports, making recommendations for improvements based on the data.
  1. Health and Safety Compliance:
  • Ensure that the restaurant complies with all health and safety regulations. This includes conducting regular inspections and training staff on food safety practices.
  • Develop and implement procedures for maintaining cleanliness and sanitation in all areas of the restaurant.

Candidate Requirements

To be successful in this role, candidates should meet the following requirements:

  • A minimum of four years of experience in restaurant management, ideally in a similar setting. Experience in high-volume dining environments is a plus.
