Position Overview
As a Junior Restaurant Manager, you will play a crucial role in overseeing the daily operations of the restaurant. You will be responsible for managing both front-of-house and back-of-house operations, ensuring that everything runs smoothly and efficiently. Key Responsibilities
- Staff Management:
- Lead and motivate a diverse team of staff members.

- Conduct regular stock checks and manage wastage to optimize costs.
- Financial Management:
- Handle cash-ups accurately and efficiently at the end of each shift.
- Ensure adherence to opening and closing procedures, including cash handling and deposit processes.
- Assist in preparing financial reports, including sales figures and profit margins.
- Administrative Duties:
- Keep detailed records of daily operations, including staff schedules, inventory, and sales.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, maintaining a clean and safe environment for both staff and customers.
- Collaborate with upper management to develop strategies to enhance overall restaurant performance.
Requirements
To be successful in this role, candidates must meet the following criteria:
- Experience: A minimum of 2 years of management experience in a sit-down restaurant setting (fast food experience will not be considered).
- Skills: Strong front and back of house management skills, with a proven ability to manage a team effectively.
- Communication: Excellent spoken and written English skills; you should be comfortable engaging with both staff and customers.
- Organizational Skills: Ability to multitask and handle various responsibilities efficiently without compromising service quality.
- Financial Acumen: Experience with cash-ups and understanding of financial processes within a restaurant context.
- Team Player: Must work well in a team environment, supporting colleagues and contributing to a positive atmosphere.
