Key Responsibilities:
- Menu Creation: Develop and design imaginative and seasonal menus that reflect the lodge’s luxury standards and cater to guest preferences. Your creativity will play a vital role in enhancing the dining experience.
- Kitchen Management: Oversee all aspects of kitchen operations, ensuring that food preparation, cooking, and presentation are executed to the highest quality and consistency.
- Team Leadership: Lead and inspire a team of culinary professionals by hiring, training, and conducting performance evaluations. Your leadership will foster a supportive and motivating atmosphere.
- Health and Safety Compliance: Ensure the kitchen complies with all health, safety, and hygiene regulations. Maintaining cleanliness and safety standards is crucial for a successful kitchen environment.
- Cost Control: Manage food costs and inventory efficiently, including ordering and budgeting. Your expertise will help maximize profitability while minimizing waste.
- Collaboration: Work closely with the Food and Beverage Manager/Director to align culinary offerings with the lodge’s overall dining strategy. This teamwork will help enhance the guest experience.
- Operational Procedures: Create and implement effective procedures for smooth kitchen operations and top-notch food service. Streamlining processes will benefit both the team and guests.

Requirements:
- Experience: Proven experience as an Executive Chef or in a senior culinary position, particularly in luxury or high-end settings, is essential.
- Culinary Knowledge: A strong understanding of contemporary and classic cooking techniques, ingredients, and food presentation is required.
- Leadership Skills: Excellent team management and leadership abilities to inspire and develop kitchen staff.
- Kitchen Management: Proficiency in kitchen management tasks, including budgeting, inventory control, and menu planning.
- Food Safety: A thorough understanding of food safety and hygiene standards is crucial for maintaining a clean and safe kitchen.
